We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in welding, metal fabrication, and blueprint reading, contributing significantly to our custom manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret and implement complex blueprints and plans to accurately perform welding and metal fabrication tasks.

2. Utilize a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA etc.) to carry out welding assignments.

3. Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws and ensure conformance to specifications.

4. Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.

5. Collaborate with the design and production team to ensure the accuracy and quality of finished products.

6. Maintain and repair all machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

8. Continually improve your skills and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder in the manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience in welding, metal fabrication, and custom manufacturing.

3. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and plans.

4. Advanced knowledge of various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and MMA.

5. Familiarity with manual and automated cutting equipment.

6. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

9. A relevant certification or diploma in welding or a related field will be an added advantage.
